These terms are the agreement between you and Code Next Door when you use Pikapi to build and run an online store. Please read them before you create a store. If you don't agree with them, please don't use Pikapi.
Who we are
Pikapi is a store builder for sellers in Nepal, run by Code Next Door at pikapi.shop. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Code Next Door, and "you" means the seller who signs up. You can reach us at support@pikapi.shop.
Your account
- You sign in with a Google account. Pikapi has no passwords of its own.
- You must be old enough to make a binding agreement, and the details you give when you sign up (your name, your store's name and your contact number) must be true.
- You are responsible for your Google account, for keeping it secure, and for everything done in your store's dashboard. If you think someone else has got into your store, tell us straight away.
What Pikapi provides
Pikapi gives you a storefront at your own address on pikapi.shop, themes and a visual editor, a product catalog, a checkout where customers order and pay cash on delivery, delivery prices you set per district, an orders dashboard, and a tracking link for every order.
We provide Pikapi as it is. We work to keep it running and correct, but we can't promise it will always be available, fast or free of mistakes. We may add, change or remove features. If we plan to remove something you rely on, we will try to tell you first.
Your store, your responsibility
You decide what you sell, at what price, and what delivery you offer, and you are responsible for all of it. In particular:
- Your products and listings. Describe what you sell honestly, with real photos and real prices, and honour the prices you show.
- Your delivery promises. Only promise delivery you can make, and deliver what was ordered.
- Your customers. Handle returns, refunds and complaints yourself, and treat customers fairly.
- Your customers' details. When a customer orders, you receive their name, phone number and address. Use them only to deliver the order and to contact the customer about it. Keep them private, and don't sell them or pass them on.
- The law. Follow the laws of Nepal that apply to your business, including consumer, tax and registration rules, and any permit your goods need.
What you must not do
You must not use Pikapi to:
- sell anything illegal, or anything whose sale is banned or restricted in Nepal unless you hold every permit the law requires;
- sell counterfeit or fake branded goods, or stolen goods;
- publish misleading listings, such as false descriptions, fake discounts or prices you won't honour;
- upload photos, text or other material you don't have the right to use, or material that is unlawful, hateful or harassing;
- try to get into another store's data or anyone else's account, overload or disrupt Pikapi, or get around its limits.
Sales are between you and your customers
When a customer orders from your store, the sale is between you and that customer. Pikapi is not the seller and is not a party to the sale.
Customers pay you in cash when their order arrives. Pikapi does not take payments, and does not collect, hold or pass on any money. We don't deliver orders, and we are not responsible for delivery, returns, refunds, the quality of your goods, or disputes between you and your customers.
Your content
You own the products, photos, text and other material you add to your store. You give us permission to store, copy and show that material, in your storefront and your dashboard, only so that we can run your store and provide Pikapi. You must have the right to everything you upload.
Fees
If we introduce any fees for using Pikapi, we will announce them separately before they apply.
Suspending or removing a store
We may suspend or remove a store, or close an account, if it breaks these terms or the law, puts customers or other people at risk, or if the law requires us to. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to fix the problem. While a store is suspended, its storefront is offline.
Leaving Pikapi
You can stop using Pikapi at any time. There is no button to close a store or an account in the dashboard yet. To close yours, write to support@pikapi.shop from the email address of the Google account you sign in with. We will take your storefront offline, then tell you which of your information we can delete and anything we have to keep, for example order records that may be needed to settle a dispute.
No guarantees
Pikapi is provided as it is and as available. We don't promise that it will suit every need you have, that it will run without interruption, or that information will never be lost. Keep your own record of anything important to your business, such as your orders.
Limits of our liability
As far as the law allows, Code Next Door is not responsible for losses that come from using Pikapi or not being able to use it, including lost sales, lost profit or lost information, or for anything a customer, delivery service or other seller does. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change matters to you, we will tell you before it takes effect, using the contact details on your account. If you keep using Pikapi after a change takes effect, the new terms apply to you.
